5/50 Campaign

Five Years Later - Help the Mission Continue
On June 2, 2020, a moment of collective heartbreak and holy conviction brought thousands of us together in downtown Brooklyn. In the wake of George Floyd’s murder, we gathered, over 100 churches strong, not just to protest but to pray, march, and act. From that sacred gathering, Pray March Act was born.
Five years later, the ache for justice remains. We are once again navigating a season of unrest and division within our city and our churches. But the vision that launched PMA has not changed: to make God’s invisible justice visible.
By God’s grace and with your support, we’ve evolved from a single gathering to a dynamic coalition of churches, organizations, and hundreds of advocates across New York City. Together, we’ve:
Trained believers through civic discipleship
Mobilized voters and policy advocates
Hosted public actions grounded in prayer and prophetic witness
Championed the sacred dignity of every New Yorker, especially the marginalized
In the remainder of 2025, our goal is to rally new churches and individuals to consider supporting the work of PMA.
Your gift will directly support:
Help establish a strong financial foundation for the coming years of advocacy work
Powerful citywide events like inter[sessions], MLK rally, book clubs, prayer gatherings, leader gatherings, protests, and more that unite and equip the body of Christ
Bringing in subject matter experts who train and support civic engagement
Civic discipleship and resource development that educates and empowers the church and advocates to engage in the civic life of NYC
Rapid response to emerging concerns in our communities
Staff who develop and strengthen strategic partnerships with other like-minded groups seeking the flourishing of all New Yorkers.
